C'mon...you've always wanted to be a Viking - and lead other Vikings in a raid for untold treasure. We know you have. And now ... you can lead your own Viking raid, at least in a heavily researched historical simulation. You'll be presented with the same kinds of situations a Viking leader would have faced. You'll have to make the same kinds of decisions a raid leader would have had to make - and face some of the same consequences of those actions a Viking would have had to deal with.

And you can try it again, and again. Run the simulation repeatedly and make different decisions. See how different the results can be.  Be bold and risky on one raid and then be cautious and careful on another. Raid different places. Try different strategies. Be different people. There are, very literally, millions of paths through this program. Read the Notes page for more background information, and maybe a few hints.

You will have a crew.  At any point, you can move your cursor over one of the crew members. If their face is showing, they have something to say. Use their knowledge, if you want it. It may help...  Use their knowledge and suggestions as often - or as seldom - as you choose. You're the leader of this raid.

Click on 'Start' to begin the simulation. Read each Situation, then click on 'Continue'. Select from the Options presented. Click on 'Get Results' to see the results of your decision, at least some of the results. Not all of the results of your decisions will be immediately evident. Just like life... Click on 'Continue' to see the next situation requiring a decision. Repeat the process. If you close the page your work will be lost.

Important Note!!! The Viking Raid Simulation captures and stores NONE of the information from your raid. If you close this window, all of your work is lost!
