We are the Timberhaven Vikings, the Portland-area chapter of the
Vikings
of North America, a living history and reenactment group dedicated to the study and accurate
re-creation of life in northwestern Europe during the Viking Age. Members portray Scandinavians, Anglo-Saxons, Normans,
and related peoples of the early Middle Ages and participate in woodworking, blacksmithing, leatherworking, steel combat,
