My first introduction to Vikings was the History Channel show "Vikings". Little did I know that by flipping on the TV to watch this series I heard so much about would lead to a multiple years long obsession researching who the real life Vikings really were. The more I learned, the more I loved to talk about this stuff with anybody who would listen or, at least, humour me. This led me to search out a group of like-minded Viking age enthusiasts with whom I can talk about Viking related topics and perform in historical reenactments of the time period. Insert the Vikings of Bjornstad - a group of Viking age reenactors that I met at the Scandinavian Festival in Sacramento. After meeting these folk and hearing their knowledge inspired me to join. I look forward to performing and learning with them.
