The Vikings of Bjornstad has been invited to join in the promotion of the Viking
movie, The Northman, at its premier in San Franscisco.
In full Viking gear - on stage - we'll provide a 15 minute introduction to ourselves and the movie, talking about the Viking culture in general. We'll describe our
individual identities, briefly, and make reference to the movie, using the trailer and some screen captures
as our only information sources.
Car service to and from the event will be provided from both Santa Rosa
and Concord.
The screening is a promotional/word-of-mouth screening. Their goal is to invite people, groups, organizations, etc. that would be interested in the film and
encourage them to spread the word about the film’s release. The hope is that if someone attends the free preview they will tell their friends, post on
social media, etc. and help spread the word about the film’s release.
Unfortunately, the studio decided not to cover the costs for our fees and travel.
