Directions:
Park in the unpaved parking lot at the Southeast corner of the Balfour Road and Byron Hwy intersection. We will be just beyond the long row of very tall Eucalyptus trees to the east. I plan to have the Bjornstad banner set up as a location marker.

Event Information:
Bjornstad will continue its longstanding tradition of throwing axes (and maybe loosing arrows) to improve our martial skills.

We'll get together at the De Luna Ranch for lunch (bring your own) at noon. Bring a folding chair! We should have nice shade during the event, as long as you're willing to move as the sun transits...

The axe throwing session will begin about 1:00 PM and last a couple of hours.  You'll be sticking them in minutes.  We will have three axes for the group's use, but bring your own if you'd like to see how well yours would work.  (Henrik once brought an atlatl with javelin!) The De Lunas (or Jack, in their absence) will have complete say on what gets thrown at the targets.

We'd like to get some photos and video of us in action, so bringing and wearing your Viking gear is requested, but not absolutely required.
